Do people dream after they die?
Is there sleep in Heaven?

I wonder if you're thinking of me,
I know I'm thinking of you.
The clouds are out today,
I think I see your face.

The gentle breezes blowing through
My thoughts of you, unending,
Your smile shines bright
Throughout the night,
In my dreams you wake me.

I feel your arms around me,
Just one more firm embrace,
I wanted to feel you one last time,
Around me, keeping me safe.

All that's left, all to remember,
The smell on your clothes,
The dreams in my slumber,
Your face in the clouds,
Stolen thoughts on autumn breezes.

Do people dream after they die?
Are you sleeping in Heaven?
This is just something that started coming to me tonight, and I just started writing and it ended up like this. This poem doesn't really actually relate to anything in my life, but it's just what came out when I started writing. I thought it was interesting.

i wasnt grabbed right away like unheard but a little less than midway through i was deeper into it than i realized... the beginning didnt feel that strong but when i finished the poem i realized that it was kinda hinting where it wanted your mind to go as opposed to being blatent and obvious.... ithought it was a good poem
